As promised in my previous post (and quite some time later – is it May already?) I have completed my first vintage 8mm wedding film. This was filmed entirely on the fly at Trish and Dan’s wedding in late March but my budding film-maker husband Andy. The joy (and to a certain extent, anxiety) of shooting on actual film (remember, the kind you used to hand in to boots for photos) is that you have no idea how it will turn out until it’s developed. While I was enjoying the convenience of digital photography at the wedding, our film had no preview, no opportunity to click through and check exposure, and no ‘delete’ button. Thankfully, the invention of digital film editing made it possible to edit the rolls and rolls of film and add music. We hope you enjoy it…we enjoyed making it so much, we made another at last weekend’s wedding. no comments I’ll be kicking off the wedding season in style tomorrow with Trish and Dan’s wedding at Norwood Hall in Aberdeen (these are some of the images we captured at their recent pre shoot). A bit later than usual for me this year with the studio taking up rather a lot of my time recently…and I will soon reveal a new add on to my wedding packages following tomorrow’s wedding (hint..it involves photography’s close friend : moving images – but with a very cool twist
