Location

My home studio and outdoor space are in the Glenwood suburb of Richmond. Well placed for access via 99, Westpark Tollway and US 90. My location is an oasis of calm and serenity, abundant with woodland and wildlife. Please take care when driving, free roaming deer are regular visitors!

Availability

I work on a strict appointment only basis. I am available year round for studio portraits. Outdoor portraits are best reserved for cooler months. Studio slots are available during the day and evening Thursday thru Sunday.

Pricing

Pricing is based on plate size and my time to prepare and photograph them. A high resolution scan of any plate purchased is inclusive of the price. All prices include taxes.

  • Similar to tintype, but made with transparent glass. More preparatory work is required, the glass plate is more fragile, but with nuanced details revealed in reflected light. Custom wooden stands are available to display your piece, priced from $7.50

  • I can make duplicates of an existing photograph using the wet plate collodion process. Although these are never going to be as detailed as images taken in camera, I have curated a method to replicate originals closely, in both tintype and ambrotype.

    Pricing starts around $50, I can advise options available to you depending on the size and quality of the original image.
